ALSO!
I like the word “kibble.” It’s a very cute word. It’s way cuter than “nibble” which to me sounds a little snooty. Mostly because when I think “nibble” I think little cucumber sandwiches that taste like air. But “kibble” is kind of cute. If I ever have a pet I will name it “Filbert” after the nut.

Filbert kibble. (That is, your future pet’s food, not food made out of your future pet).
Ms. Biz: Filbert M. Kibble, Esq. Very good.
Is that you Filbert M. Kibble, Esq?

On occasions, one finds oneself speaking by phone with a physician’s assistant and offhandedly describing an elderly relative in poor health as being “off her kibble”.
This is at once disrespectful in the extreme and self-gratifyingly humorous; one smiles at one’s wickedly clever side.
what’s kibble? & is sammich just a cute word for sandwich?
