Aura: I cannot post youtube cuz it fucks with the sizing on my blog, i do not know how to make the youtube window smaller. Technology is very confusing. Red pandas, however, not confusing. ONLY CUTE.

Ms. Biz: Also in addition to pouches, they have nice big ears and satisfying snouts which I would like to pet in a loving fashion.

LilG’: It is interesting, you bring up a fascinating issue. I think actually that ‘teh’ pouches do not smell so good because it is filled with stinky baby tracking in stinky things and because the mama can’t get down in there to clean it. I do not think they keep it clean. They cannot turn it inside out and shake out the stink. I think that I would not like to smell the pocket, I would just like to admire the cuteness of the pouch from afar. FROM AFAR WHERE THERE IS NO STANK. Look! Cute!

Here’s a thing I’ve always wondered about with the pouches. You know how in just normal life you get lint and old pennies and little rocks and ancient pieces of gum in your pockets? Imagine that instead of your keys and your cell phone you stuck a baby in there…are you with me here? Can you IMAGINE the kinds of things you’d pull out the next time you were in the Piggly Wiggly checkout line and digging around in your pocket for some pennies?

Oh!

So here’s my question: How do dey keep dey pouches clean?

P.S. I also simply like the sound of the word “Pouches”. Be a good name for a cat.

The thing about Red Kangaroos is that they are totally too cute and they have pouches, AND they can totally FLATTEN you with their tails and PUNCH you in the face! They are fierce and protective and fast, and also cute with pouches.

I hope it was clear in my previous post that I was talking about inanimate stuff animals, not the real deal. Kthx.

I’m inspired, I just spent hours arranging a mélange of framed blog clippings, photos, plaques, certificates, citations and testimonial letters to create largest “Love Annie, Love Her Marsupial” wall display EVER. From a distance it looks kinda like cover of a TigerBeat Fanzine with loads of gossip and scandalous funstuff about wombats having backward-facing pouches!

Jon: Dude marsupials have POUCHES. Why aren’t people more insane over this? POUCHES. THEY COME WITH POCKETS.

Weirdo: OK I am working on the shirt but it means I have to get the original artist involved who is very grumpy today. Grump like a crab.

Mis. Biz: Dude I LOVE red kangaroos. Dude. THEY HAVE A POUCH! No other animal has that. Comes with pockets. Also I am a sucker for any kind of animal that has large ears. Dude Australia has all the good animals, we have CRAP here. Nothing has pockets.

I have been a die-hard fan of the Red Kangaroo since I was 3. Seriously, I don’t know where I got the idea but I begged and begged and pleaded for a Red Kangaroo for Christmas. And I got one. I still have it (her name is Pepper, in case you were wondering) although she is absolutely in tatters. She will never go on the scrap heap. NEVER!
