Pecha Kucha? Oh god, they just started doing those at my [mostly architecture] school. I'm sure it's cool, but it sounds like you're getting sucked in further and further into that dreaded field... beware! ;)

I went to PKNY but I went with a non-designer who pretty much wanted to leave after the 2x4 presentation (I mean it was cool but not 500(or whatever) T-shirts cool). So to make the story short I missed your presentation.

If you post it on youTube or wherever with a voice over I will be much obliged!

Snoployee: So does that mean you'll get me a job there? I'm not an architect but I can uh color your drawings in. I'm very good with crayon, that's my preferred media.

Nomenclature: Sorry, that sucks. You should've chained yourself to the girl from Treehugger that would've been hilarious.

Snoball: YOU ARE LYING!How is that possible? I don't even work til 6 and I'm not even an architect.

I was one of those people who was shut out last night. We stood in line for a good 30 minutes even as we repeatedly saw different people come back reporting "No, they're not letting people in. It's over crowded and a fire hazard. No, not even if people leave. In fact, they want people to leave." to their friends and then pull them off the line to just go get drinks or something. The shrinking of the line gave us false hope that maybe, just maybe we'd get in, even though we saw not a single person cross that threshold. Successfully anyway. I saw this one girl go up to a guy standing by the door and give him a kiss, and I was sure that would guarantee her admission, but instead they just walked back and forth on the veranda a little, and sadly she too never got in. At some point masses of people came out of the building and we took that as a sign that we could storm the castle so we all rushed up to the doorway only to have the bouncer laugh in our faces "Ha Ha Ha you silly fools. You will never get in, never!!" I peeked into the tiny opening calling out "Annie, Annie!" I was here! You would have let me in right? You would have called off the guards and parted the sea of bodies so that I could walk though and take a spot at the front all to watch your glorious 400 second presentation. But alas, you did not hear me, so the best that I could do was leave souveniers of broken fingernails and a little scraped off skin as I clung on desperately to the building for a few lasting seconds as I was cruelly dragged away by armed guards. Next time, I guess.
